Capcom have announced a digital event on January 7th.
Fans can expect big news and reveals on upcoming Monster Hunter game for the Nintendo Switch, Rise.
Catch the event over on Twitch, Twitter, YouTube and finally Facebook. The event starts at 6am PST and 14:00 GMT.
Capcom has released two new videos detailing the lance and long sword in Monster Hunter Rise. They also feature some new footage, so check them out below.
Monster Hunter Rise will launch on the Nintendo Switch on the 26th of March 2021.

Nintendo have dropped a new look trailer for upcoming game, Monster Hunter Rise and the demo is hitting the Nintendo eShop in January. More information incoming.

Monster Hunter Rise is releasing on the Nintendo Switch March 26th, 2021.
Capcom has revealed upcoming merchandise for Monster Hunter Rise and it includes 2 types of carry cases, acryl charms and plushies. All of these will be available on the 26th of March 2021, when Monster Hunter Rise releases.
The “Supply Box” carrying case has enough room to store the entire Nintendo Switch console, along with charging Dock and controller. It will cost ¥4200, around £30 / €34 / $40.
A smaller carrying case will also be available for the Nintendo Switch lite. This one will cost ¥2800, or about £20 / €23 / $27.
The available charms will cost ¥650 (about £5 / €5 / or $6) individually and ¥9,100 (about £66 / €74 / $87) for the set of fourteen. Consumers will be able to carry charms of their favorite weapons from Monster Hunter Rise with these stylish acrylic charms.
Finally, three new plushies of the Palamute, Palico and Magnamalo. These will cost ¥2500 (about £18 / €20 / $24).

The official Twitter account of the Monster Hunter game series has released some new footage for Monster Hunter Rise on the Nintendo Switch.
In it we get our first look at the Palamute actively engaging an enemy and we see the protagonist wielding a Great Sword.
Monster Hunter Rise will launch on the 26th of March 2021 on the Nintendo Switch.

During the Tokyo Game Show 2020 Capcom have is our first look at gameplay in Monster Hunter Rise (starts around 1:34:45).
One of the new features in the game is the Wirebug, a creature which can be used as a grappling hook, for a maximum of 3 times. They can be found in the wild.
There’s also a new “action slider” tab to issue commands to your Palamute. And we can pet the doggo. 🥺
