A possible merger between Warner Bros. and Discovery could throw a spanner in the works.
Publisher TT Games which is responsible for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a part of Warner Bros. Games. And the fate of Warner Bros. Games is currently unknown, as parent company AT&T is selling off assets to Discovery, so they can create a new streaming platform. The video game platform of Warner Bros. may be a part of that.

The LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is already pretty far in production so it’s unlikely to be cancelled, but a further delay is possible given the current business deals. As of yet, the game has no release date after the previous delay announcement.
