Taiwan’s National Communications Commission (NCC) have published a variety of images giving us the first close up photos of the next-gen console.
The photos show just how big the PS5 actually is. Earlier this week we learned that the PS5 is the biggest game console in console history, and even beats the Xbox One and Sony’s own PS3. Sony released official dimensions during its PS5 event this week, which didn’t include the “largest projection” or the optional base measurements.
The photos don’t show how the NVMe slot on the PS5 is accessed. Sony will allow PS5 owners to expand storage space, though we don’t have full details on how this is going to work.
Sony has also teased that the PS5 hardware is customisable in ways that previous generations of PlayStation consoles weren’t.
