CD Projekt Red has been quite busy today. They announced a new studio for Canada, new company strategy and next gen info for Witcher 3 Wild Hunt.

Last week, GAME Espana replied to a twitter user comment whether or not they would refund the game due to being defective on PS4 and Xbox One. GAME Espana said “in principle except for factory failure of physical support, returns are not allowed if you have already unsealed it.”
After contacting GAME UK, they replied saying “Thank you for your message. If an item is return due to been unwanted the item would need to been sealed and unused. If however the product was faulty this would not apply. I hope this helps.”
And just for further clarification, if the item is faulty, it wouldn’t need to be returned sealed as GAME said “No if the products faulty it would not need to be sealed.”
Kojima Productions celebrated their 5th anniversary on the 16th of December. They announced a collaboration with CD Projekt Red’s, Cyberpunk 2077.

BREAKING: Sony has removed Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation store.
Following discussions between CDPR and Sony. Sony have decided to remove Cyberpunk 2077 and offer refunds to all players.
CDPR said “the decision was undertaken following our discussion with [Sony Interactive Entertainment] regarding a full refund for all gamers who had purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store and want a refund at this time.”
“All copies of the game previously purchased digitally on PlayStation Store remain available for use by their respective buyers,” confirmed CD Projekt in its statement. “Gamers can still buy physical versions of the game in retail and mail order stores.”
CDPR did reassure owners of Cyberpunk, that the game will continue to receive support and updates.
Sony had this to say: “SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store. SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice.”
“Once we have confirmed that you purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund. Please note that completion of the refund may vary based on your payment method and financial institution.”

A leaked CD Projekt Red board meeting call has surfaced on the Internet over at Reddit.

The general census seems like the investors are only bothered about the money and worried how the customer refund procedure will be carried out. As we reported yesterday that GAME Espana came out publicly that they won’t refund the game unless it was physical, manufactur defect. Yet under the consumer rights act, you are entitled to a refund or in some certain cases, partial refund at best, the quicker you raise a claim, UK that is.
We even spoke to Amazon customer services yesterday, and if the software is defective upon their investigation, they will offer a refund.

Talking to Amazon UK customer services. Amazon will accept returns for Cyberpunk 2077 upon software investigation.
Going from their returns policy;
It does leave the confusion which some people will want clarifying. As it states in their policy about new items should be returned unused and undamaged. Of course, players over the world didn’t know what kind of shape the PS4 or Xbox One versions will be like. Once you unseal the game and install, download and start playing. The problems obviously occur, which leads to our confusion about returning to Amazon and what their stance is.
Amazon Customer services said “If the software is defective you will need to return the item to us so this can be investigated.”
We are still waiting for response from GAME UK, as we earlier reported GAME Espana will not be offering refunds.
GAME Espana has commented to a tweet made to them about a refund for Cyberpunk 2077.

CD Projekt Red has just announced through its social media channel that they will be offering refunds.
They start of first by apologising the state of the game running on last gen consoles. More updates are incoming, such as in 7 days time and two huge updates coming in January and February respectively.
