VIZ Media announced that they’ll be bringing “Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Vol. 1: Deserted Island Diary” to the West. The 128 pages long manga will be released on the 14th of September 2021.
What do the villagers of Animal Crossing: New Horizons get up to when you’re not around? Find out all about their antics in this hilarious manga filled with goofy gags and silly stories! Plus, read comics that highlight each villager, as well as get tips and tricks for playing the game in a special bonus section.
San-Ei will be releasing a host of new Animal Crossing plushies mid-July this year. These include Flick, C.J., Blathers, Celeste, Gulliver and Pascal.
Alongside these they’ll be re-releasing Isabelle, K.K. Slider, Timmy/Tommy, Bunnie, Fauna, and Kicks. Each plushie will be available for ¥2.200 (about £14, or €16).
The Animal Crossing Build-A-Bear characters have been revealed to be Isabelle and Tom Nook. Unfortunately, they’ve already sold out.
Both of these characters can be augmented with a sound chip in their paw. One chip plays the New Horizons theme tune, while the other plays 5 phrases of the character.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has broken Nintendo of Europe’s first-year sales records, becoming the fastest selling game in Europe.
To date, 7 million copies of the game have sold, both physically and digitally.

New Horizons’ sales figures suggest that up to 39% of Nintendo Switch owners have bought Animal Crossing.
Build-A-Bear, the company that let’s you build your own custom teddy bears, have announced a new collection focused on characters of the Animal Crossing New Horizons.
As of right now no further information is available. We don’t even who the available characters are going to be.
Build-A-Bear have teamed up with Nintendo before to produce such toys as this Super Mario teddy bear:

A new update will be available on the 28th of January and with it some exciting new features. First, let’s look at the trailer:
So, what’s in the update?
- Festivale Event – Feel the heat with the colorful Festivale event filled with dancing and flying feathers! On Feb. 15, Dancer Pavé will arrive to your island’s plaza to usher in some confetti and carnival spirit. On the day of the event you can capture colorful feathers floating on your island with your net and trade them to Pavé to receive a passionate dance number in return. Rainbow feathers seem to be an especially rare sight, so be sure to catch them and trade them with Pavé. Invite friends over to your island or visit theirs to partake in the festivities together.
- New Reactions – If you want to express your excitement for Festivale, you’ll now have a range of new Reactions to choose from. The Viva Festival Reaction Set can be purchased with in-game Bells from the shelf at Nook’s Cranny for a limited time and includes Feelin’ It, Let’s Go, Viva and Confetti.
- New Clothing – Starting Feb. 1, Festivale clothing will be available at the Able Sisters shop for a limited time. Now you can get your Festivale groove on in style with these fashionable looks!
- Seasonal Items – Make sure to keep an eye out for seasonal items at the Nook Stop in Resident Services and through Nook Shopping. Celebrate the sentimental season with chocolate hearts and heart-shaped bouquets, which will be available for purchase beginning Feb. 1 and running through Feb. 14. There will also be other items related to Groundhog Day and Big Game Celebration available for certain periods during January and February!
Also, in March (probably the 26th), the Animal Crossing Sanrio Collaboration Pack, featuring six amiibo cards compatible with Animal Crossing New Horizons, will be re-released in the UK and the EU. The Animal Crossing Sanrio Collaboration Pack contains all six amiibo cards from this unique Sanrio Collaboration Series! You’ll be able to use these vibrantly designed amiibo cards in compatible games.
Additionally, another update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is planned for March. The teaser featured Mario items, so will probably celebrate Mar10 day, which is the 10th of March.
IO Interactive will be pretty chuffed of claiming the No.1 spot in the UK gaming charts.
Hitman 3 released on the 20th of September and the PS5 version accounted for nearly half the sales. Hitman 3 sales were also 17% more than its predecessor.
Referring back to the console sale percentages. PS5 is at 49%, Xbox 27% and the PS4 at 25%. Its rather clear what platform of choice people have picked Hitman 3 up on.
Animal Crossing New Horizons is in 2nd, which it was pretty much dominating the UK charts for the last few weeks. However, over 800 copies were the difference.
