What We Been Playing This Week

Hello and welcome to our first and weekly feature on Gaming Square! Check out what the staff members have been playing this weekend!

Ori and the Will of the Wisps has held my heart captive – I’m not very good at platformers, but this just flows so nicely that it doesn’t feel as brutal.
Also Collar x Malice, because who doesn’t love a nice wind-down game when you’re feeling under the weather?

Dragon Quest XI. Just beat the mural monster thingy. I’m loving this RPG. There’s so much to explore and loads of side quests.

I have been playing Super Mario 3D All Stars, cleared a level on Hyrule Warriors and fallen back into Link’s Awakening. I’ve forgotten how great LA really is and shouldn’t of stopped playing! Psst, just finished LA tonight! (Sunday)

This weekend I’ve been playing Persona 5 Royal. I absolutely love this game and have enjoyed every second of my 100+ hours. I highly recommend picking this game up, even if you’ve played the original. The new content makes it feel like a completely new game.

Tune in next week to see what we been playing!

Drop a comment below and share with us what games you have been playing.

Kirby Star Allies Artbook Announced

HAL Laboratory has announced a new artbook for the Kirby Star Allies series, called: Kirby Star Allies: The Original Art Book. Filled with over 500 pieces of artwork, including art from the post-game updates. Apart from the artwork we’ll also be getting interviews and messages from members of the development team. So, it’ll be loaded with interesting stuff.

Kirby Star Allies: The Original Art Book will have 2 versions. The first is a standard edition and the other one is a signed edition with signatures from the creators from HAL Laboratory (so, basically the same only with scribbles). I should point out that there are only going to be 40 signed copies and the only way to obtain them is by entering into a drawing. So, good luck with that…

Release is scheduled for the 16th of March 2021.

Rumour: PS5 price, release date tomorrow?

According to the express. UK retailer, GAME somewhat teased about announcement from Sony tomorrow. The tweet was deleted, yet Daily Express got hold of the info before it was deleted.

“Those awaiting preorders and have Ryi. Please standby for updates. PS5 have scheduled an announcement tomorrow so things are about to kick off this week.”

Not only GAME but also Simply Games also reckons announcement will be made any day now.

Email sent to customers:

“We are expecting the PlayStation 5 to be available for pre-order any day now, and you don’t want to miss out on the next-generation of gaming,”.

“The PlayStation 5 may not go on general sale due to limited stock, so the only way to hear about when you can pre-order is by registering your interest.”

What you reckon guys?
