The arcade shoot ’em up style DLC achieved a highly coveted reputation after being available to players as a ‘Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?’ pre-order bonus for only a limited time only in Japan. After the Lord of the Other World went on vacation his leadership was temporarily taken over by his sweet daughter, Evilina.

Die by the Blade Completes Successful Kickstarter Campaign

We’ve previously reported on the Die by the Blade Kickstarter campaign, and we can now report that Die by the Blade successfully reached its funding target via Kickstarter and has now moved into the next phase of development. 

A total of 478 backers pledged over $25k to support the continued development of Die by the Blade securing some exciting rewards along the way. The money raised will be used to expand on the current gameplay experience with higher quality animations using motion capture technology, expand the character roster and add in even more weapons.

“Following the successful Kickstarter campaign we now enter an exciting time for the development of Die by the Blade.” commented Peter Nagy, founder and CEO of publisher Grindstone. “We would like to thank all the backers who supported us during the campaign and welcome the many new fans to the DbtB community. Their feedback and constant support means a great deal and we value their input into the future development of the game”.

Drawing inspiration from legendary combat games like Bushido Blade and Way of the Samurai, Die by the Blade is a one-hit-kill sword fighting action game where players must take up their weapons and face off against deadly opponents. Choose your character, select your weapon and engage in 1 vs 1 combat where the slightest mistake could seal your fate. Become a master of your craft and fight to the death with other players in tense, fast paced multiplayer matches or slash through tough AI enemies in the thrilling single player campaign.

Save Data Added to Spider-Man for the PS4 and PS5

Insomniac Games announced the release of the Marvel’s Spider-Man save transfer update. Once you’ve updated the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game, you’ll be able to transfer your save data from the original game to the remastered version.

To start transferring your data you need to start the PS4 version, load it up, and choose which saves they will import from within the game. As part of the export process, it automatically adds them to the PS5 version connected to the same PSN ID if you hit the right trigger in the menu.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is available for the PlayStation 5 with the Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition.

Digital-Only Release for Doom Eternal on Nintendo Switch

Bethesda has released a statement regarding Doom Eternal and it’s sad news for those looking for a physical copy of the game.

While Doom Eternal is 100% on track for an imminent digital-only release on Nintendo Switch, the absence of a physical release at retail resulted in canceled pre-orders.

Affected customers will receive full refunds and should contact their preferred retailer for more information.

Doom Eternal is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Switch version still does not have an official release date.

Demon’s Souls’ Mysterious Door Has Been Unlocked

We previously reported on a secret door discovered in the PlayStation 5 remake of Demon’s Soul. And we now know what’s behind it!

It’s a new set of armor, not previously available in the original Demon’s Soul: the Penetrator Set.

To obtain it you’ll apparently need 26 Ceramic Coins, which can be traded for the Rusted Key with the merchant known as Sparkly the Crow, requiring multiple new-game-plus playthroughs of the game.

The SOEDESCO original IP will continue to receive more content and features in the future. Recently, the trucking experience launched its free ‘Hidden Places and Damage System’ DLC. This added visual damage on the player’s truck and other vehicles at the point of impact, three hidden places with trophies or achievements to discover and five brand-new AI vehicles, including a mini bus and pick-up truck. Besides the ‘Hidden Places and Damage System’ DLC, Truck Driver also got a completely new AI system and a Unity Engine upgrade among others. The four country-themed ‘Paint Jobs’ DLCs are another addition to the expansion of Truck Driver and it will certainly not be the last of it.
