Attention Passengers: Hilarious Co-Op Time Management Flight Attendant Simulator Shakes on a Plane Now Available for PC and Nintendo Switch

Publisher Assemble Entertainment, most famous for the notorious point-and-click adventure game Leisure Suit Larry – Wet Dreams Don’t Dry, and developer Huu Games are thrilled to announce that Shakes on a Plane is now available on Windows PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch. Taking inspiration from popular titles like Overcooked and UnrailedShakes on a Plane puts players in the precarious position of providing a timely, relaxing, culinary experience at 30,000 feet to a host of hungry and impatient passengers before the plane reaches its destination. Of course, things are never as easy as they seem, so grab a crew, clear your schedules, and make sure to arrive at least three hours early. Shakes on a Plane is available for £12.99 GBP on PC with a 20% launch discount and £17.99 GBP on Nintendo Switch with a 30% launch discount.

Shakes on a Plane takes the wit, humour, and simple fun that Assemble titles are known for and adds some surprisingly intense and chaotic multiplayer action,” said Assemble Entertainment CEO Stefan Marcinek. “It’s a goofy and colorful game built on a rock-solid platform that fans of the genre will certainly enjoy.”

Have you always dreamed of a life in the clouds, jet setting from exotic locale to exotic locale, and enjoying the finest international cuisine? Well, how about just the jet setting part, and instead of enjoying fine cuisine you’re instead serving burgers and shakes to a group of impatient, hangry passengers all crammed together in a metal box thousands of feet in the air? Shakes on a Plane tasks you and up to three friends with providing a satisfying airborne culinary experience in a chaotic environment with simple, easy-to-use controls and deceptively tactical gameplay. Coordination, delegation, and teamwork will propel-ler you to victory and ensure a five-star rating on the “How Was Your Flight Today” survey. And if the passengers get too sassy you can always para-drop them out the airlock — trust us, it’s standard procedure for all airlines.

Additional Features Include:

  • Flying is Fun…Right?: Crying babies, obnoxious drunks, impatient business class fliers…It’s not your job to pick the passengers, but it is your job to keep them satisfied with delicious treats and tasty beverages
  • Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Grab up to three other players to build your ideal team of talented flight attendants, but don’t forget that you’re locked with them inside a narrow metal tube at 30,000 feet — coordination, cooperation, and patience are the keys to a successful flight
  • I Didn’t Order the Fish: Attention to detail is vital to keeping your impatient passengers sated with enough fast food to hopefully put them to sleep for the remainder of the flight. Make sure you get the right order to the right person, on time, or the cabin might get a tad unpleasant…
  • Putting the F in First Class…And UFO: Don’t get too comfortable…each plane has a different layout, forcing players to adapt on the “fly” and perfectly plan their food delivery path

Shakes on a Plane is now available for Windows PC via Steam for £12.99 GBP with a 20% launch discount and Nintendo Switch via the eShop for £17.99 GBP with a 30% launch discount.

Investigative Thriller Dry Drowning Opens New Case on Nintendo Switch

Following a successful launch of the acclaimedPC version, VLG Publishing (a label owned by award-winning video game publisher, Leonardo Interactive) and developer Studio V are excited to announce that psychological investigative thriller Dry Drowning will launch on Nintendo Switch in Q1 2021. As well as the opportunity to experience this captivating visual novel on the go, the Nintendo Switch version will feature a completely overhauled English localisation language track and improvements to the user interface.

Dry Drowning is a perfect fit for Nintendo Switch, as murder mystery fans will be able to mull over difficult decisions and moral dilemmas wherever they may be,” explains Daniele Falcone, General Manager at Leonardo Interactive. “With over 150 narrative threads and three completely unique endings to unlock, players will find themselves glued to their screens longer than any show they’ve streamed in recent memory.”

Dry Drowning is a visual novel that takes a stark look at a near-future dominated by dark forces in positions of power. The game immerses players into the world of Mordred Foley – a troubled private detective with a genuinely shady past – and his mission to lift the lid on a serial killer taking out targets in a dystopian future. Weighed down by a dark history of his own, Foley’s world is one gripped by tyranny, where the hunger for power at the top results in society sinking to the absolute bottom.

The game differentiates itself from other visual novels with a script that doesn’t shy away from tackling themes such as racism, immigration, political extremism, and sexism and plays out in a multi-branching story made up of 150 different threads – a structure that places a heavy burden on every decision taken, and every line of dialogue uttered.

In a world where lying appears to be second nature to most, the ability to uncover the truth is worth its weight in gold. To aid Foley’s investigations, players have access to a unique ‘Living Nightmare’ system that highlights when a character is lying, helping to uncover a world where trusting anyone quickly becomes a dangerous game.

Dry Drowning features:

  • Choices that really matter: More than 150 story branches and three completely different endings.
  • Moral choices that impact character relationships and the game environment across a potential 20 hours of gameplay.
  • Elaborate clue system for investigations: Learn about the city of Nova Polemos and its citizens through dialogue, evidence, items, and character biographies.
  • Horror style interrogations: Use evidence to reconstruct cases, break people’s masks of deception, and uncover the truth with Dry Drowning’s “Living Nightmare” system.
  • Explore flashbacks and past cases to solve new ones.
  • Dynamic soundtrack with more than 40 dramatic and emotional tracks.
  • A balanced mix of Western and Eastern visual arts, casting light on a grim futuristic setting where cyberpunk and retro elements harmoniously coexist.

Dry Drowning will be available for Nintendo Switch in Q1 2021 and is available on SteamGOGUtomik, and for PC now. A free demo that includes the first two hours of gameplay is also now available on PC.
