Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Heading to Switch

In a surprise announcement Nintendo has just introduced a new Hyrule Warriors game. Set 100 years in the past in the world of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, this game lets you finally experience the events of the Great Calamity.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will release on the 20th of November 2020. And if you preorder it via the Nintendo eShop you get a Lucky Ladle that can be used as an in-game bonus weapon for Link.

Interesting to note is that the Nintendo website also mentions Amiibo compatibility, though these haven’t been further specified.

Lastly, Ejij Anouma (producer of the Legend of Zelda series) mentioned that work on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was ongoing, so there’s also that.
