The mountains of power event starts January 7th from 10am to January 13th, 8pm local time.

Mega Aerodactyl is introduced in this event amongst shiny Pokemon encounters too.

For the first time in Pokemon GO, you will be able to encounter a shiny Slugma if you are lucky of course!
