EVER!!!
The new Nintendo Switch OLED model display screen has a “anti-scattering adhesive film” right out of the box, to make sure the glass screen doesn’t break into a million pieces if it’s damaged and to add further protection.

The film is almost impossible to see, but Nintendo is adamant that you “Do not peel off the anti-scattering adhesive film from the OLED screen of the console”.
Nintendo has confirmed that the anti-scattering film won’t cause any problems with a screen protector, if you’d like to add an extra layer of protection.
