Week 39

Welcome to another weekly news round-up. This week saw a “surprise” Nintendo Direct, which brought us a load of information. So let’s start with that.

A massive expansion for Monster Hunter Rise titled Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak was announced. It will launch next year.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land, a new 3D Kirby adventure is launching Spring 2022.

Animal Crossing New Horizons is getting an update in November which will finally add fan favourite pigeon: Brewster.

The Animal Crossing amiibo cards will be returning with the release of series 5.

After it’s initial announcement 4 years ago, Bayonetta 3 will be launching next year and we got new gameplay footage!

N64 and SEGA Mega Drive games will be become available to Nintendo Switch members through a special Expansion Pack.

Gotta stay fresh with all the latest details for Splatoon 3! Check out some of the new locations and weapons.

The second wave of the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass will be launching end October.

Mario Golf Super Rush received an update adding new playable characters among other things.

In other news:

The Good Smile Company will be re-releasing Figma figures of the main characters from Persona 3, Persona 4 and Persona 5.

The Metroid Dread amiibo 2-pack has been delayed in the EU region due to shipping issues.

ATLUS is opening a new online store and they’re shipping internationally!

The Pokémon TCG Online app will be shutting down and be replaced with Pokémon TCG Live.

The mobile version of Pokémon Home has been updated.

Splatoon 2 is getting a new update as well, with some rebalancing of weapons.

Kitaria Fables has received an update.
