Nintendo Teams Up with Fujifilm for Instant Photo Printer

Always wanted to print those screenshots you take on the Nintendo Switch? Well, now you can! Nintendo had tracked up with Fujifilm to create a new smartphone printer that prints Instax instant photos. It’s called the Instax Mini Link for Nintendo Switch Smartphone Printer. Yes, that is a mouthful.

This new special edition of the Instax Mini Link features the signature Switch colours of red and blue, with a red top surface and a blue power button.

There’s also going to be a special limited bundle that features a silicone Pikachu case.

To accommodate you transferring all your photos there’s going to be a new dedicated smartphone app specifically for Nintendo Switch owners.

Just like currently, you’ll be able to send your photos from the Switch to your smartphone with a QR code, and then add filters and frames, before printing them, or other photos, as physical Instax photos using the Mini Link.

The new Mini Link Special Edition will be available starting on the 30th of April 2021, with a price tag of $100. The Pikachu case bundle is set to be released in late May with a price of $120. The smartphone app will be available for free in the Apple App Store and on Google Play.
