It’s been reported today that Nintendo are acquiring Luigi’s Mansion developer, next level games. The Canadian studio is already close to Nintendo with previous projects such as Super Mario Strikers on the gamecube, reboot of Punch-Out on Wii and Metroid Prime: Federation Force on the 3DS.
The acquisition will boost collaboration with resources and help secure internal development.
The deal should be done, signed and delivered by March 1st, making Nintendo the sole owner of the company.
