Fans of Crypt of the NecroDancer can pre-order a physical version of the game this month along with a gorgeous Collector’s Edition as well.
Brace Yourself Games, the developer behind the rhythmic dungeon crawler Crypt of the NecroDancer announced near the end of September that the indie title will be receiving the physical treatment next year.
Announced via the Crypt of the NecroDancer twitter page and the Brace Yourself Games website, there will be a Standard Edition and Collector’s Edition of the game. The Standard Edition will come with the Amplified DLC, full-colour manual with character info and all-new artwork, and mini-CD which includes AMPLIFIED tracks never before released physically. Those who pick up the Collector’s Edition will receive everything in the Standard Edition plus an illustrated steelbook case, an exclusive 100% cotton printed “Cadence” bandana, Mini-CD of the original NecroDancer OST, and an enamel pin of “Bucky”, an unused pet familiar by original NecroDancer artist, Jesse Turner.

Pre-orders for both editions will begin on October 23 with a planned release date of February 12, 2021.
The Standard Edition will sell for $29.99/£29.99/€34.99 with the Collector’s Edition coming in at $49.99/£49.99/€54.99. This release will only be available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. As of now, there’s no information as to whether this will be available at retailers or directly through Brace Yourself Games.
